Family Ambassador Program
Community Impact Project
 In collaboration with Families First and the Massachusetts Department of Early Education in Care, the Family Ambassador program seeks to strengthen the family engagement capacity of early childhood programs and their family ambassadors in order to implement effective and inclusive practices and policies that directly impact families in their communities.

Meet Our Family Ambassadors 
Sofia Ibarraran, PhD
Sofia lives in East Falmouth with her family, including her 2 young children with whom she loves to bake and cook. Sofia says her spice rack hints at their multicultural family (Mexican and Indian) with achiote, epazote, cardamom, saffron, and turmeric! She has a Ph.D. in biology and loves to read and do research about child development. As a Familiy Ambassador, Sofia hopes to contribute to shaping the world her and your kids will inherit.

Wendi Shramek, M Ed. 
Wendi lives in Mashpee with her family, including her young child who has benefited from The Coalition of Children programs since he was a lap baby! Wendi holds a bachelor’s degree in art history and a master’s degree in special education. As a Family Ambassador, Wendi hopes to help expand culturally and linguistically diverse learning opportunities, and social emotional learning workshops and supports.

Edita Stuckey, MS, MBA 
Edita
 lives in East Falmouth. She is Early Childhood Specialist with the Coalition for Children, a mom to a special little boy and a military wife who has lived in many different places, always with the goal of improving and giving back to her communities.
