Community Council
The Coalition for Children administers a Mass Family Network (formerly called Coordinated Family and Community Engagement or CFCE) grant serving Falmouth and Mashpee. This grant, which is supported by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care through the Town of Falmouth / Falmouth Public Schools, provides programs and services for families with young children, from birth through kindergarten.
Each Mass Family Network program is overseen by a council of parents, public school staff, family child care providers, businesses and programs that serve families with young children. The council builds community partnerships that improve services for families with young children by responding to their needs. Thus, the Coalition for Children’s programs and services are discussed by the council, based on the unique needs of our community.
Serving as a member of a Community Council is another way for parents and caregivers to ensure that quality care and resources are available to all children and families. To learn more, contact us or join in to one of our upcoming in-person or virtual meetings!
