Literacy
Snuggle up and settle in to listen to a story together! Read along with authors, actors or sit back and listen to audio on a podcast! Remember storytime is better when adults are present and attentive: ask questions while you are listening together, make comments and laugh together. Share the ups and downs of the story and talk about it when it's over. You can extend the theme of the story you've watched together to an independent art project or building with Legos or blocks. Get creative and enjoy the time together!
